THE INFILL PLANS ORIGIN
We Build Plans for the Lots Standard Plan Books. Ignore
01
Infill Plans started with a frustration shared by a lot of builders, developers, and aspiring homeowners: the plan books designed for a suburban quarter-acre lot simply don't work on a 28-foot urban infill site. The footprints are wrong. The garages are front-loaded. The layouts assume a flat, wide lot with deep setbacks. The result is thousands of people forced to hire an architect from scratch — for a project type that has been solved dozens of times.
02
We set out to build a curated library of house plans designed from the beginning for the specific constraints of infill development: narrow lots, corner sites, alley access, steep slopes, ADU zoning, and the dense urban fabric that surrounds them. Every plan in our catalog has been drawn by a licensed architect with direct experience in infill construction. Every plan has been reviewed against the dimensional standards of real urban infill markets.
03
We are not a generic plan aggregator. We are a purpose-built resource for people doing real infill development — and we're committed to making that process less expensive, less confusing, and more successful.
Our Mission
To make quality, permit-ready house plans accessible to anyone building on an infill lot — regardless of budget, location, or prior development experience.
Who's Behind Infill Plans
Our plans are drawn by licensed architects with active practices in urban markets where infill development is part of everyday work. Every designer in our network has pulled permits, worked with local jurisdictions, and built structures on the kinds of lots our plans are designed for. This is not theory — it's practice, translated into downloadable documents.

What We Stand For
• Precision over volume — We'd rather have 50 excellent plans than 500 mediocre ones. Every plan we add to the catalog has to solve a real site type and solve it well.
• Transparency — No hidden fees. Every plan listing tells you exactly what you're getting before you buy.
• Access — Good design shouldn't require a $20,000 architectural fee for every iteration. We believe well-designed plans should be available to anyone with a lot of vision.
• Buildability — A beautiful rendering means nothing if the contractor can't build from it. Our plans are construction-document quality — not just pretty pictures.
