The Studio ADU Plan is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 566 square foot home designed from the foundation up for a tuck behind ADU replacing a garage or create a side yard retreat. This compact home brings a premium modern barn aesthetic and open layout. The living space has a double height ceiling, this plan solves the real constraints of urban infill development without compromising on space, light, or character.
The main level opens to an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area oriented toward the yard space, maintaining natural light and visual depth on a compact footprint. Built-in storage walls ensure a clean, clutter-free lifestyle. The primary suite occupies the mezzanine with sleek space saving bookshelf guard rails and built in desk. Elevated sleeping area is separated from the living area for privacy and quiet. Glass doors and window visually extend the living space on all sides of the ground floor.
This plan is optimized for ultra-narrow backyard spaces at only 15-foot-wide. It works seamlessly on flat terrains as a standalone guest suite or Airbnb unit.
